The Auckland Nature Reserve is the oldest forest in South Africa and
our infamous "Cliff Bath" is perched precariously on the edge of it!
We are perfectly located with delightful hiking trails leading from our garden straight into the forest,
while we are also only a short stroll into the village to enjoy some local shopping.
At Away with the Fairies you will discover a variety of accommodation available,
ranging from freshly renovated Self-Catering Apartments & Cottages, to En-Suite private rooms to Dorms and Camping.

We wanted a relaxed wedding with our closest loved ones.
The Heart Centre is such an intimate space with such a great energy to it.
The views are mindblowing,
from the Heart Centre there is an endless panorama
of the nature reserve
and the indigenous forests
in the valley below.
We highly recommend!
The location was perfect,
I have always dreamed
of a forest wedding lush with trees all around me.
Away with the Fairies is a very special place with such a beautiful atmosphere
and amazing views.
The Hogsback mountains just added that extra touch of magic to my day and memories.

with our big family it made it so easy for us having the option of accommodation with the venue.

There is a new addition to the beloved Fairies playground,
our Hearts have been refocused into a journey of love and healing, moving inwardly towards our Center.
We have built a sacred space, filled with positive intention and love,
a space that encompasses the spectrum of the 7 chakra points of our beautiful bodies.
The Fairies Heart Center is a sacred space perfectly positioned on our cliff edge with gorgeous views
of the Auckland Nature Reserve and the surrounding Indigenous Forest.
An ideal space for workshops, retreats, meditations, yoga, and other body movement practices
along with weddings & functions.

The Green Dragon Cafe is our on-site restaurant, open daily for our guests convenience.
We serve good coffee with yummy treats, delicious smoothies, ice cold local craft beer, wines and ciders.
Our cafe is open daily from 08h00 and serves breakfasts
& our homemade stone ground pizza's which you can have at any time.

As we are a licensed premises it is illegal to bring your own alcohol onto the property.
Although we are pet-friendly, our pet isn’t.
