Striders Self Catering Apartments

Our newly renovated self-catering apartments are perfect for anyone wanting to stay in a quieter setting – with lovely views. The Self-Catering apartments are about a 250m walk or drive through our forested garden, from the reception and The Green Dragon Cafe.

Each apartment offers a lush green garden with a shared braai and seating area facing the stunning Hogsback mountains.

Each apartment is fully equipped with kitchenettes made out of solid chunky wood, while you can snuggle up in snugly winter duvets and extra blankets, heaters as well as fresh towels.

This thatched apartment offers a comfy double bed, with en-suite bathroom and an indoor heater

for those cooler nights.
There are additional warm blankets and fresh towels for guests.

Gimli's Rest

Quiet and quaint

Gimli's Rest features a spacious lounge at the very front of the apartment, this enables guests to rest quietly in the bedroom while other guests may wish to entertain, chat or sit back and relax with a good book.

Family time

This family apartment has a King Size (2 singles) bed as well as a bunk bed, in a shared room, for two additional guests or kids. The apartment also features a private bathroom with a shower. The room has extra blankets to keep warm and also comes with towels.

Gimli's sleeps 4 guests and can be

1 x king or 2 x singles plus the bunk!

Featured in the apartment is an additional two sleeper double bunk bed, ideal for kids and the family to share in one amazing holiday in the Hogsback mountains.

Quality and comfort

Samwise Gamgee is a thatched family apartment, ideally suited to small families. There is a super comfy king sized bed (2 singles) and a bunk with additional blankets for guests. Fresh towels are also supplied.

Enjoy delightful views from your lounge, leave the sliding door entrance open to enjoy the abundant sounds of nature, from your lounge you can view all three of the Hogs Mountains.
